Now they enter month two and after trying their first search using the phrase "make money with computer" they would find that the term was so broad that it returned millions of results. So, they tried to narrow the results by using the search term, "make money at home with computer."
"Make money at home with computer" is the search term you try using in the beginning of the second month of unemployment. Toward the end of the first month of dwindling work, you grow tired of going through the millions of result from the broader term you used. The second month brought only cancelled jobs and more bad news of a weakening economy. With nothing on the horizon you spend a couple of hours a day searching the internet for ways to make money at home with your computer and the rest of the day giving estimates (that never panned out) and looking for a normal job. Giving free estimates and searching for a job was only doing one thing and that was eating money. You are going through a lot of gas and the gas prices were soaring fast. The end of second month brings you to a major decision to quit wasting money on gas and concentrate on finding a way I could make money at home with your computer.
Toward the end of the second month, you come across a website that offers a turnkey drop ship website for $167.00 that was already populated with products and ready to go. There is no need to have a warehouse because all items would be shipped directly to the customer from the wholesaler. It stated that all you needed to do was set up a paypal account. No, you don't buy in right away. You go back to the website two or three times because whenever you do a search for how to make money at home with my computer, their website was always one of the ones on the first page of the search results. Yes, you do eventual buy one of their turnkey, make money at home drop ship website. This is your first big mistake. After reading everything on their site about four times it seemed like it could not be any easier, site set up, products already uploaded, just sit back and fill orders (after marking everything up 10%) as they came in. (Plus they offered a ton of bonuses)
You get excited and fear filling orders would take up most of your time. Five months later and yes, you are still waiting for those orders to start coming in. They failed to mention on their web site that you would have to work very hard to get the site to rank with Google so it would come up in search results, on the first or second pages. Of course there is another option to get traffic to your new drop ship website and that is to buy it. At this point, you can barely afford to pay your bills much less buy traffic. Ashamed to say......YES you do end up spending between two and three hundred dollars buying traffic and yes, you are still waiting for all those orders to start rolling in.
After finishing this article I discovered that the first six-months of an Internet Marketers journey filled five full pages so I have decided to publish this story in five parts this is part two, the titles of all five articles are below.
I am publishing these five articles in the hopes that I can save people who are trying to make money online the aggravation, frustration and money that many go through trying to survive our failing economy. There was only one place I honestly feel does not try to deceive you into buy things you don't need.
